MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Review

Good news!  A face product that actually does what it claims to do!

I have combination skin and this product absorbs all the excess oil on my face. After contemplating the purchase at the MAC counter, I decided to give it a try, and with their awesome return policy, I thought what the heck. I am so happy that I purchased the MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium.  This colour is perfect for those with a light olive complexion like myself.

Let’s discuss why this product is so great!

#1.  It does not leave the skin feeling or looking "cakey."  It’s just as it is described in its name, NATURAL.

#2.  Easy to apply.  Anyone can use this product, so it’s a good choice for beginners!  Depending on the type of coverage you want, you can achieve multiple stages of coverage.  If you want low coverage for those low-maintenance summer days, use a large powder brush like MACs 134 large powder brush.  However, if you want more coverage, use a dense brush like Sigma’s F80 Flat Kabuki brush.  TIP: Wet this powder for a heavier coverage and it will serve as a concealer.

#3.  Long lasting.  This product will last throughout the day.  I work from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and my makeup is still in place.  Also, when I arrive home I usually workout for an hour, and when I wipe my forehead with a tissue all the makeup on my face transfers over to the tissue.  That shows me that the makeup does not transfer easily and has long lasting power, which is awesome!  It's like a super face powder! Too much?

I will re-purchase this product once I hit pan.  Awesome product.
